The origin of Dayanand Mahavidyalaya is unique in many ways. This college is one of the best educational institutions in India. Around 27,00 students are studying in the campus spread over approximately 250 acres of land and agricultural farms. The college was taken over by the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi in the year 2000. The college building is a grand and wonderful example of architecture, built with beautiful Jodhpur stones.
